After the October jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed an increase to 3.7 percent unemployment and a decline in labor force participation,Ways and Means Republican Leader Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement:

“The workforce is shrinking, job growth is slowing, and unemployment is rising – these are all signs of a Biden-induced recession.

“Families are suffering in Biden’s cruel economy, with three in four Americans saying that things in the country are going badly.

“While Democrats promise more of the same inflationary policies, Republicans are committed to building an economy that is strong, where more families can achieve the American Dream.”
