American families and Walmart shoppers getting crushed by inflation and higher fuel prices will bear the brunt of Democrats sending 87,000 new IRS agents after taxpayers, Ways and Means Republican Leader Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) said on “Your World” on Fox News with guest host Charles Payne.

Democrats’ supercharged IRS will audit lower- and middle- income earners, despite the White House’s denial:

“They are absolutely misleading the American public. Clearly there will be, according to the Congressional Budget Office, about 710,000 more audits on what you and I would call Walmart shoppers. These are families where every dime counts, they’re getting crushed by inflation and higher fuel prices just to drive to the store. They will bear the brunt of these new audits. 

 

“As you know, when you have more cops you have more arrests. You’re going to see a lot of that revenue to pay for this bill coming from those middle-class working families who can least afford the IRS targeting and harassing them.”

With 87,000 new IRS agents, audits will increase on all taxpayers:

“They can’t target just the wealthy. There’s simply so many more IRS agents that will be unleashed on the American public, and of course it’s going to land on those Walmart shoppers and middle-class families.

The Manchin-Biden bill hikes taxes on small businesses as the economy enters a recession and violates President Biden’s pledge not to raise taxes on the middle class:

“The other increases in taxes are going to hit Made-in-America businesses, small businesses, and workers who always bear the brunt of higher taxes. 

 

“Don’t take my word for it, the Joint Committee on Taxation confirms it. There’s no question this violates President Biden’s plan against higher taxes on middle-class families.”

Democrats’ “Inflation and Recession Act” makes President Biden’s cruel economy even worse:

“The country is running on Joe Biden and congressional Democrats’ record. It is a miserable record with a cruel economy and nothing they’re going to do can change that because this will not tamp down inflation. 

 

“The Penn-Wharton model shows that inflation could well increase here in the next two years. They’re doing nothing about reducing the debt here, and they have budget gimmicks in place. What people are going to experience is more inflation, a bigger worker crisis because they’re subsidizing some with better healthcare to stay home than reconnect to work. The American people will bear the brunt of this.”
