The Woodlands, TX — The top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement on the 2020 Medicare Trustees Report and 2020 Social Security Trustees Report:

“While today’s reports from the Trustees don’t take into effect COVID-19, they are another reminder that we must act together to strengthen Social Security and Medicare for future generations. The best tool for keeping these programs solvent is a strong economy with a robust workforce. That is where our focus needs to be after we lock down this virus.”
